Flying a kite on Jekyll Island, GA

We are taking a kite vacation!

We sold, threw out, or gave away most of our belongings, and hit the road. Our dream was to take a mini-retirement exploring the USA and all it has to offer. This will include a generous amount of kite flying and kite bugging. I’m a freelance Graphic Designer and will be attempting to work from the road.

We are always in need of Places to Buggy

We are on the lookout for the best spots to buggy, and or fly. The goal is to share them on KiteBuggyLife. We have spent many hours on search engines, forums, and other social media sources. Spots are hard to find. We don’t know the local restrictions. If you know a great spot (first-hand experience please!) we are looking for your help!  After visiting a spot, we will write a post.  Using the information we have posted we hope others will take “kite” themed vacations. That’s why we’re making this site.

On this website, we’re going to blog about everything that makes this trip possible.

  • Traveling and  living in an older travel trailer takes dedication. Sometimes we’ll talk about that.
  • We’re gadget people, and will have plenty of reviews.
  • One of our major issues is internet access. Scouring the forums for whispers uses a lot of data! It has been difficult finding access without spending too much money! I feel like I will be writing a lot about this topic in particular.
  • Often we are traveling to a specific spot and just need a blacktop boondocking spot. We will review places we’ve stayed,  free and the ones that are low cost.
  • We will review places to fly, with photos, maybe some video, we might try podcasting. It will be a little of everything, we will see what works.

ADVERTISING: Throughout KiteBuggyLife.com we are using affiliate links. This simply means that should you choose to purchase a product we've recommended we get a small commission (maybe enough to buy a coffee) at no additional cost to you. We only promote products we would bring into our home. Never would we push products for the mere purpose of getting paid for it. We share a product just because we love it and think you will too. In the future we may be given a product to review, we promise to tell you if/when this happens.
